Miesha Theresa Tate, born 18 August 1986 is an American mixed martial artist. Tate is currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) where she is the former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was before an Strikeforce female bantamweight champion. Tate was also vice-president of ONE Championship. She is currently ranked number 10 in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings as of October 3 2022.



 



 Early life



 Tate was born to Michelle Tate in Tacoma (Seattle), Washington. She was raised by Robert Schmidt and Michelle. She was a teeny-tweener in her early years, she often socialized with the boys in her neighborhood on playgrounds.
